The first image is done with a B6 pencil. The second is with a charcoal stick. The was with a b4 pencil. The Charcoal stick was difficult to get used to holding. I did one also that was a stick of a light grey conte crayon stick. That did not show up on the scanner. In my last one I have longer curvy lines. I believe it was a result of listening to music while drawing. I personally like the color of the charcoal best, however it was a little more unpredictable in the using of it, for me.
